The Organisation

Richard Amos Sensei is the World Chief Instructor of the group. However, Richard Sensei draws upon the talent of his executive committee to drive the group. Steve Ubl Sensei is the World Technical Director and as such provides vital direction within the group. Within WTKO GB , Scott Langley Sensei is the Technical Director and domestically he leads the group.

WTKO (GB) Aims
To teach traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate.
To provide a fair, legitimate and democratically run organisation.
To allow access to the best instruction and competition.
To have all dan grades registered at the WTKO Headquarters.
To allow members to qualify as WTKO instructors, examiners and referees.
To help students and instructors achieve their goals within karate.
To maintain and develop the connection with Japan.

The World Traditional Karate Organisation (GB) was set up in June 2014 with a mission statement of providing a fair, legitimate association offering the best of traditional Japanese karate through modern training methods and open minded approach to learning. We aim to provide instruction of the highest calibre from sensei who have trained and competed to become some of the best in the world.
